In the first picture Grace was Mulan that year because we decided to do Disney.... She was so nice to go along with it because I was more the crazy Disney fan.....
In the second picture we often made our costumes and sometimes we would be in each others classes painting, cutting, or borrowing something for halloween or a spirit day. One year Grace and I completely waited to the last minute and a lot of teachers at school ordered a shirt with a ghost on it and I think the ghost was holing a book. Something similar to the picture below but not this exact one or maybe it was ..... We talked about a couple days before and decided to try and fit in with all the teachers who had pre ordered their shirts. Anyways we both brought in a sheet to school and that morning I was in her class before school and was still cutting holes in my sheet for eyes. I think we had felt pieces to add for the face. Then we both just held a book for the school parade wearing our sheets. We looked so ridiculous but also it was the best kind of ridiculousness....... we were the real life characters on the shirt. I really wished we had taken a picture of the the year.
